Nutrition and health focused the theme for the twenty-first DuPont science award

DuPont presented on 16 June the convocation of the 21st DuPont science award, directed to the field of scientific research in the Iberian Peninsula. For this call twenty-first, the theme on which scientists submitted must have done his research is focused on nutrition and health, disciplines of greatest relevance today to meet the challenge posed by the enormous growth of the population in the world.
DuPont science award aims to encourage individual initiatives, in the form of articles or published papers, constituting an important contribution to the advancement of science or its applications in Spain and Portugal.
The verdict of the jury, whose presidency is Professor Santiago Grisolía, will be released in autumn of this year 2011. The prize has a financial envelope of € 30,000.
