Aqualia presents its sustainable model of managing water in the 2007 days of ASA

Aqualia, integrated management of water, was one of the sponsoring organizations of the 21st days techniques of the Association of water supply and sanitation of Andalucía (ASA), which were held between 17 and 19 October in Hotel Barrosa Palace, in the Cadiz town of Chiclana de la Frontera.
Aqualia participated in the Conference with a booth where disseminated information related to its commitment to sustainable management of water. In addition, the recent launch of its first Corporate Social responsibility report and the development of the letters of quality of service, joins the introduction of a pioneer in the Sector: the comprehensive Plan for efficient management of the urban demand for water (PIGEDUA), which is a reinvention of the classic concept which was until now the management of the water cycle (demand was a fact and therefore had to give the people of the resources needed to meet this demand), as well as the integration of sustainable development as something substantial from the company's business model.

With the support of this meeting, aqualia demonstrates its commitment to the environment and with an efficient management of the water. In particular, Andalusia their contracts cover more than 100 municipalities where manages the municipal water service, as well as the operation and maintenance of a total of 23 stations for treatment of drinking water and 57 stations Residual water treatment plants.
