Brenntag acquires Italian distributor of food ingredients and raw materials Natural World

With effect from 1 July 2007, Brenntag, the global leader in the market for the distribution of food ingredients and raw materials, acquired the Italian chemical distributor Natural World, whose headquarters are located in Lugo, in the North of Italy.

Natural World distributes chemical products for the Italian food industry. In particular, the company is specialized in the distribution of ingredients and formulations for industries focusing on dairy and bakery.

Thanks to this acquisition, Brenntag expands its position in the sector of the distribution of food ingredients in the Italian market and as a consequence, also in Europe.
