Automation University meets in Barcelona to 700 companies and professionals in the industry
The Rockwell Automation company brought together more than 700 companies and professionals in the industry the past 22 and 23 November at the Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via M2, Automation University programme, in which the multinational presented its latest advances in automation and industrial information technology. The meeting, aimed at manufacturers of machinery and consumer goods, as well as integrators of system and end users of Spain and Portugal, hosted more than 40 presentations, seminars and practical sessions in the more than 1,000 square meters of the event.
A life sciences Forum, dedicated to the industry of the Pharmacy and biotechnology, was also held in the Automation University sessions of consulting custom experts in engineering and solutions, as well as demonstrations of Rockwell and its partners in the range of solutionsproducts and services. Also, on November 24, already out of the program for companies, gathered 150 students of engineering universities and vocational schools in various autonomous communities, on a day focused on the training of new professionals.
One of the tasks of the multinational is achieved, through their work systems, connect the data from the factory with enterprise systems and supply chains to thus take decisions in time real, taking into account the standards of security and protection.
