The Clúster Chemical of the Mediterranean, presented in Groningen

This afternoon the delegation of Chemmed Tarragona has presented the Clúster Chemical of the Mediterranean in the annual meeting of the European Chemical Site Promotion Platform, celebrated in Groningen, Holland. The general director of the Aeqt, Teresa Pallarès, and the general director of the Port of Tarragona, Francesc Sánchez, have been the attendants to explain the project to the assistants. In total, 15 representatives of other ports, clusters and chemical poles of all Europe; of a total of 28 that they are those that integrate the association. In the presentation of Chemmed Tarragona, has explained this put in value of the existent synergies between the chemical sector tarraconense, the Port and the territorial agents, a sum that makes some ideal surroundings to be able to receive new investments.
The chemical pole of Tarragona represents the 25 % of the state chemical production and constitutes the most important south of Europe. With this constitution of the Cluster, the representatives of Chemmed have explained that it wants to follow working of conjoint way to find solutions to the needs of the sector, doing even more attractor trucks this territory for the conservation of the companies that already conform it and for the implantation of new companies, that are linked with the chemicals and the industry that surrounds it.
