Asebio Receives in his XV Anniversary show of support of different groups of interest

To celebrate this anniversary Asebio has asked to 15 extraneous citizens to the Association, but connoisseurs of his work, his assessment on the path of the patronal from 1999. The document ‘15 years, 15 voices' includes opinions of different groups of interest with which Asebio has related during these years: traditional industry, consumers, agriculturalists, scientists, investors, academicians, administrations, international organisms, environingingmentalists, journalists, students and searchers of employment, among others.
Like representatives of the civil society, Claudia thin, director of the Spanish Federation of Rare Illnesses (Feder), appreciates to Asebio his national and international leadership and his “contribution to the attainment of scientific advances, so necessary to improve the quality of life of the people”. By his part, Francisco Ferrer, president of Facua Cas-tilla La Mancha, congratulates to Asebio “by his persistence and tarpaulin in the defence of some values that tornan, in our current time, no only important but also indispensable.”. Fernanda Serrano, director of the Foundation Félix Rodriguez de la Fuente, whose aim is the defence of the environingingment, stands out the value the patronal “referent, serious and solvent” in a time in which they abound “false conjectures” and “assessments pseudocientíficas” on the biotechnology.
From the politics arrive also messages of support and recognition. Inma Laughed, spokesman of industry and R&D of CIU in the Congress of Deputies, stands out the transversalidad and the high social impact of the biotechnology and the role of Asebio like “tractor and dinamizador of the business fabric, with a very notable paper in favour of the companies, of the innovation and especially of the society.”. By his part Carlos Espinosa of the Monteros, High Commissioner for the Mark Spain, appreciates to the association his effort of international projection of the sector and adds that “The advance experienced by the society and the economy of the modern Spain in the last years could not have better representation that the way that have done the companies of biotechnology.”.
The academy and the science add to the congratulations with the authorised voices of César Nombela, rector of the International University Menendez Pelayo: “The human genome and the description of thousands of other genomes are events lived by Asebio. After fifteen years of business projects, now have seen compensated many of his big efforts.” And of Santiago Grisolía, reward Prince of Asturias of Scientific and Technical Investigation: “Asebio gathers companies biotecnológicas, a sector reserved to the audacious that create employments of quality and generate products of high value added, reason of pride for all.”.
Another voice that Asebio has wanted to collect, by his importance in the work exerted by the Association, is the one of the journalistic profession. Cándida Godoy, journalist of TVE and deputy director of the program Open Audience, devoted to the Real House, remembered us that, as, HRH the Prince Felipe has reiterated in several occasions: “The creation of companies biotecnológicas is intimately tied to the competitiveness of a country”.
The students and the searchers of employment are other two publics to which Asebio has devoted part of his efforts. Gonzalo Ortega -9 years- and participant in one of the activities that Asebio has organised for the childish public, commands us an affectionate gratitude. “I want to congratulate to Asebio for approaching and teach to the boys the value that has learn new things and the useful that is for my family and friends the advances that attain the scientists”. By his part the youngster biotecnóloga Manuela Díez sends the following message: “I Am very appreciated to Asebio for having me helped to orient my career and to look for my first professional opportunity.”
The document of ‘15 years, 15 voices' complete with two international contributions. Juan Gabriel Pérez, director of Invest in Bogota, the ally of Asebio for the first edition of the event Biolatam, ensures that “Asebio has been ours better partner and fellow to promote the development of the biotechnology in our region." Finally, Nathalie Moll, general secretary of Europabio, the patronal European of the sector, puts in value the European leadership of Asebio, one of his partners of greater weight and influence, since it adds that “Thanks to the dedication of his team and of his associated, (Asebio) has done an incredible work in representation of all the areas of the biotechnology”.
