The greater appointment of the Spanish and south chemicals of Europe, that will go back to celebrate in the enclosure of Big Via, presents another novelty to organisational level, since the president of the Business Federation of the Spanish Chemical Industry (Feique), Luis Serrano, is the new president of his committee organiser, substituting to Rafael Foguet, president from 1999 and maximum impulsor of the contest, that has been appointed president emérito in recognition to his work in favour of the development of the sector and of the own living room.
Expoquimia Is the greater event ferial of the Spanish chemical industry and south of Europe. With periodicity trienal, in addition to having of a wide commercial offer, the living room has an extensive scientific program formed by an important number of congresses, days and seminars. Between the acts that organise in the frame of Expoquimia stand out appointments like the Congress of Chemical Engineering of the Mediterranean or the Days of Instrumental Analysis, that convert to the fair in the point of transfer of the scientific knowledge of the chemicals applied.
In these moments, the steering of the living room is working in the design of the contest and already has attained to close, for example, 80% of the speakers that will participate in the XIII Congress of Chemical Engineering of the Mediterranean that, organised by the Spanish Society of Industrial Chemicals and Chemical Engineering (Sequi), will gather to some of the best chemical engineers of the world.
In this sense, already is confirmed the participation of the professor Rafiqui Gani, of the prestigious Technical University of Denmark (DTU, in his acronyms in English) that on 30 September will do the inaugural reading of the congress advancing the main tendencies that will mark the future of the chemical engineering. In addition to the professor Gani, the congress will have the presence of speakers so stood out like Gintaras Reklaitis, professor of the University of Purdue (United States), and Peter Jaffe, of the University of Princeton (United States); the professor Adisa Azapagic of the University of Manchester (Great Britain) or the ex-president of Gamesa, José Antonio Garrido.
Expoquimia Will celebrate , once again, of conjoint way with Eurosurfas (International Living room of the Painting and the Treatment of Surfaces) and Equiplast (International Living room of the plastic and the rubber), configuring like this a new edition of the Meeting of the Quimica Applied of the Mediterranean.
