Progress of the Technical Conference of the International Hall of chemical

In addition to being one of the essential business platforms at European level, Expoquimia is the Forum in which experts from very different areas and disciplines analyzed the situation and the major developments of the industry and the various areas of research in the chemical sector. Through a comprehensive program of technical conferences, the room will address the main areas in which, today, the chemical industry has to face different challenges: Science, technology, economics and legislation.

One of the Central events of the programme of technical seminars will be the celebration of the day of the chemical, on November 15. Throughout the day, the main business of the country and recognized expert international leaders will talk about the keys for the future of the chemical sector during the III Conference economic international of the Chemical Sector, and will be given national awards in chemistry and research granted by the Royal Spanish society of Chemistry (RSEQ), in six different areas: research chemical, chemical inorganic, chemical organic, química-física, analytical chemistry, and chemical engineering. The day of the chemical is organized by Forum permanent chemistry and society, the National Association of chemical and the General Council of Councils chemicals.

Two of the essential congresses of the programme of workshops Expoquimia techniques for technical and scientific, are the X Mediterranean Congress of chemical engineering and the 11th Conference on Instrumental Analysis.

This time, and from 15 to 18 November, the Congress will deal with advances and results in the field of engineering chemical, from new applications in emerging areas such as the engineering of food and biochemicalproduct engineering and sustainable development to traditional areas such as technologies for separation, chemical reactors and processes. X Mediterranean chemical engineering Congress is organised by the Spanish society of Industrial Chemistry and chemical engineering and Expoquimia.

A Conference will assess the State and prospects for the chemical sector at national, European and global level

From 15 to 17 November, the 11th Conference on Instrumental Analysis, organized by the Spanish society of analytical chemistry and Expoquimia, will focus on the methodological developments contributing to modern analytical chemistry and its applications in the resolution of the problems that currently the science and technology, with special emphasis on the environment, food, bioanalysis and proteomics, new developments in analytical instrumentation, nanotechnology and miniaturization in chemical and materials analysis and industrial applications. During the days you may also visit an instrumental exhibition showing new developments in analytical instrumentation and modern testing technology used in chemistry and biochemistry.

The scientific programme, the technology platform on sustainable chemistry: Technical Conference, will bring together academics and industrialists to discuss and propose improvements in all aspects related to innovation in the chemical sector, especially in the areas of materials and nanotechnologydesign of reactions and processes and industrial biotechnology. The conclusions will be used to establish the areas of preferential analysis with a view to the establishment of the VII framework programme of support for research in the European Union. This platform is driven by Feique, Expoquimia, the Real Sociedad Española de Química (RSEQ), National Association of chemical (although), General Council of colleges of chemical, IUCT (Graduate Institute of science and technology), CSIC (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas), Fedit (Spanish Federation of innovation and technology entities) and RSC (Royal Society of catalysis).

The new legislation in the field of safety and environmental protection also will be highlighted within the programme of technical workshops

Inside the Hall there will be a space in which entrepreneurs and technicians can check if your company is ready to face the new challenges posed by the IPPC (Integrated Pollution Control and prevention) Act. This new regulation, to which thousands of industrial installations, including those in the chemical sector, will have to be prepared by January 1, 2007, requires companies to apply for an integrated environmental authorization to operate. The Conference on the law of prevention and integrated pollution Control (IPPC) will be held November 17 and is organized by Feique, Ciba Specialty Chemical, Expoquimia and the National Association of chemical Spain.

On November 16 will take place the strategic Forum of Responsible Care (commitment of progress). Organized by Feique, this forum will discuss the review of the programme Responsible Care (programme of the chemical industry for the continuous improvement of safety, health and the protection of the environment), as well as the development of new policy of chemicals (Reach).

Safety, health and environment have different spaces within Expoquimia. One of them will be busy, from 16 to 17 November, by the 2as International Conference on Industrial safety, which is to raise awareness among the chemical industry and other industrial sectors that the introduction of safety in the chemical and pharmaceutical sector might be the pattern to follow. The days are divided into three main areas: engineering or risk analysis, risk reduction and protection of areas ATEX.
