“Progressive improvement” of Air Clear in the first quarter

The figure of businesses of Air Clear of the first quarter of 2012 rises to 3.779 million euros, upward in +6,7% on data published. After a fourth quarter of 2011 marked by a ralentización of the growth because of the world-wide economic situation, the first quarter of 2012 reflects a progressive increase of the volumes consumed by the customers of the group.

The sales of the activity gases and services reach 3.443 million euros, progressing 4,0% to comparable data. The growth keeps in the developing Economies (+11%), in particular in China, south America, east Europe and Middle East, and moderated in the economies advanced (+2%). The decrease of the sales of equipment in Electronics equipment dealers equipment dealers, that penalise the growth of the zone of Asia, compensate with the fortress of the activity in North America.

The big activity industries benefits of an increase, in comparison with the previous quarter, of the volumes of oxygen and of hydrogen. The activity industrial market is improving, mainly thanks to the rise of prices. The Medicinal activity keeps solid, promoted by the hygiene. The electronics equipment dealers equipment dealers remains stable, excluding the sales of Equipment and Installations.

“This first quarter characterises by a progressive improvement of the activity, particularly in the month of March, that allows us present a figure of businesses trimestal with a growth closely of 7%”, explains Benoît Potier, president general director of the group Air Clear.
