Qatar invests US $ 300 million to promote business investment in Andalusia

The Council of Economy, Innovation and Science, through the Agency of Innovation and Development of Andalucia (Idea), has agreed with the consultancy of investments qatarí Ore-Gulf Investments (MGI) the creation of a bottom of capital of investment endowed with 300 million dollars (some 215 million euros) that will fund local and international companies in Andalucia of the sector of the health, technologies and infrastructures.
In this agreement have participated the president of Extenda, Gaspar Llanes, the general director of the Agency Contrives, Antonio Valverde, and the general director of Ore-Gulf Investments, Mahmood Samy Aniv.
MGI, that has offices in Luxembourg, and Idea will create the Bottom of Investments Gulf-Andalucia (Gaif), that will work like a company of investments with licence/license in Spain and Luxembourg under the government of the European Union. Idea and MGI will collaborate to locate the opportunities of investment for the consolidation and international expansion of Andalusian companies and for the attraction of signatures multinationals to the community. This is the first time that creates in Spain a bottom of capital of this size and volume.
