DuPont strengthens its position in the treatment and disinfection of waters

DuPont has signed a strategic agreement with Caffaro Brescia S.p.A., entity that has purchased the plant of sodium clorito of ancient Caffaro Chimica Srl, located in Brescia, Italy. The agreement guarantees the total production of this plant for exclusive distribution to clients and distributors of DuPont, by strengthening the position of the company in chlorine dioxide and establishing a permanent and reliable long-term supply to customers in EuropeMiddle East and Africa and rest of the world.
"Is a step that places DuPont as a supplier to long-term sodium clorito and solutions of chlorine dioxide for the treatment of water in Europe, Middle East and Africa," says Paolo Barbieri, global director of the business of DuPont Chemical Solutions.
