Inerco implants in Latin America through the acquisition of environmental consultants

Inerco is making progress in its implementation process in Latin America by investing in environmental consulting, leader in the Colombian market in the field of environmental consulting. With headquarters in Bogotá and a subsidiary company in Peru, environmental consultants obtained revenues of more than 2 million dollars and employs a workforce of more than 50 professionals in 2009. This operation allows environmental consultants strengthen its technical capacity in the area of the environment and strengthen its services in the field of industrial safety and the prevention of occupational hazards.

For its part, Inerco framed the acquisition of environmental consultants in its Strategic Plan, which has among its objectives to become technological leader in the Latin American market in the fields of consulting in the environmental, industrial safety and the prevention of occupational hazardsindustrial engineering and the development of clean technologies. In this sense, Inerco has extensive experience in international projects in Europe, North Africa, Middle East, North America, as well as countries of Latin America as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru and Venezuela.

In the signing of the sale intervened by environmental consultants, Gabriel Medina and Joaquin Escobar, general manager and Administration Manager, respectively, and by Inerco, José González and Pedro Marín, Managing Director and CEO, respectively.
