The new system of public laboratories of Navarre does not carry organic changes although Yes operating practices will be modified. In other words, will coordinate analytical supply and procurement of the laboratories that are part of this system. Currently, and without taking into account the laboratories of care type of Navarre health, local public service there are five laboratories, four
subsidiaries of the foral administration and one of the city of Pamplona. The foral Government has organized a new functional structuring of centres, based on a number of factors: techniques identical or similar to make analytical, same equipment or similar, personnel with equivalent preparation and the fact you need the same consumable material. Accordingly, a Committee on follow-up to this agreement, supported by a working group has been established, it will coordinate analytical supply of the various laboratories of this system. The tendency will be to eliminate duplication of practices and new techniques that may accredit each centre will materialize.
According to this Convention, the public laboratories of Navarra will be competent to initiate the analysis of water, soil science, atmosphere, plant and animal products, and people (it will exclude care analyses Navarra health service) required for official controls to be carried out in the area. In this way, all organs and agencies of the Administration and public societies that require this type of analysis, must be ordered them to centres that integrate the new system. Also, private laboratories may analysis to the Administration when they cannot, for reasons of cost or other reasons, perform in public centres. On the other hand, the Government of Navarra will begin a study of organisation that ensures the ideal analytical needs response, and whose date of completion is scheduled for April of the year 2011.
