Burgos will host the 7th Edition of the day of chemistry

On 16 November, the main theatre of Burgos will host the 7th Edition of the day in the chemistry, organized by the Permanent Forum, chemistry and society with the collaboration of the Association of chemical of Castilla y León and the local town hall. During the event they are designated and given various awards for professional, scientific and academic recognition of chemical professionals in general. Basically, the goal of this day is disseminating chemical science, and at the same time, raise awareness about their contribution to the improvement of the quality of life. Thus, within the framework of the day in the chemistry will be awarded awards as award 'Exhaustive' the best publication in mass media; the 'future' to the best academic record of the degree of chemistry; the 'Although' to the dissemination and promotion of the chemistry and the Gold Medal of the Royal Spanish society of chemistry and 'Feique' Award for research.
The establishment of 15 November as a day of chemistry was promulgated officially, in the Official Gazette No. 274 of 15 November 2002, by an order of the Ministry of science and technology.
