Several discussion panels analysed the current situation and future projects

The V national forum of environmental management and sustainability, organized by Anavam (National Association of environmental verifiers and Auditors) at the headquarters of the technical school Superior of engineers industrial of Madrid, culminated with the participation of more than 300 people. At the closing ceremony, the Vice President of Anavam, Ramon Robles, made a very positive assessment of the development of the Forum, by establishing a close relationship between the topics discussed over this with priority issues of the Agenda of the Ministry of environment. For its part, Jose Trigueros appreciated primarily the work of Anavam and its associated companies supporting the industrial fabric, in this case Madrid, objectives of sustainability and excellence.

In the table on legislation, from the Ministry of the environment, Fermín Martínez de Hurtado, as well as developing the current state of the law on packaging and packaging waste referred to the prospects of modification of the same. "It is not a new regulation on a sector or activity, but take advantage of the experience gained in the implementation of law 11/1997" and meet new demands, among others: payment, in particular local authorities, of the total cost of the management of waste from packaging by those responsible for its implementation in the market; improve the management of industrial and commercial packaging waste, ensuring the commitments set out in the European legislation; integration of different legal texts into one; new definitions, including: commercial, industrial packaging, superfluous packaging, eco-design, specific cost, etc. Prevention and reuse promotes the use of reusable packaging and the second use, among others. In the field of recycling and recovery: possible promotional measures, including economic and fiscal, for eco-design, use and consumption of products and materials coming from the recycling of waste containers and green shopping. In this space was also devoted a special place to the legal regime of the Contaminados soils.

The table on waste management developed the latest news and focused on the concept of sustainability in this area, aimed at waste in general, to the treatment of vehicles out of use and the problem of tyre, and the traceability of waste electrical equipment and Eléctrónicos. In the third panel on urban environment, Angel Sánchez Sanz, developed policies for improving the quality of the air of the city of Madrid; Juan Blasco Martínez focused on sustainability in housing for public protection and B.
