Foster Wheeler Will develop two projects of clean fuels in Kuwait

Treats of the greater expansion and reconversion of the refineries Mina To the-Ahmadi and Mina Abdullah, to increase his performance combined from the 264.000 daily barrels current, until the 800.000, with a global investment that rises to several billions of dollars. The final aim is to increase the capacity of conversion of fuel in light products of greater value added, to satisfy the demand of the market and attain specifications lower (1%) in the content of sulphur in the fuels for automotive sector
The adjudication of the agreement supposes for Foster Wheeler the provision of services of Steering and Gestión of Project (Project Managment) during the phase of offer of the main agreements of EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction), as well as the Steering of the Contractors EPC during all the project, until the conclusion of the Proofs of Guarantee. It is foreseen that the project of clean fuels was finalised during the second quarter of 2018.
According to Humberto Della Room, Chief Operating Offcier of Foster Wheeler, “our capacity tested in Steering of Projects, the experience in execution of Mega-Projects and the wide technical knowledges in refining of Foster Wheeler, have been the decisive factors in our success to achieve this important adjudication”.
