Murcia will organize a workshop on illegal use of bait poisoned in the natural environment

In the past five years have appeared dead by poisoning in Spain 30 Imperial Eagles, 92 black vultures, 198 real kites and 43 Egyptian vultures. On the day they will participate as speakers members of the SEO/BirdLife, which develops the 'Life + poison' project, in collaboration with the Ministry of agriculture and water of the community, technical experts in the fight against the venom of the communities of Andalusia and Murcia, specialists in Toxicology from the University of Murcia and representatives of the Prosecutor's Office of environment and urban development in the region.
The papers focus on the situation of the poison in Spain and the region, the integration of the sectors involved in the fight against the same, the role of the Prosecutor's Office in this fight, the legalese in cases of poisoningmost commonly used substances and toxicological analytic report as expert evidence.
