828 Miscellaneous, better mark in the proof PowerMix of the DLG
23 February 2011
When the first PowerMix tests were performed in 2005, 280 g/kWh values were considered excellent. Three years Fendt got a brand new, as he had done four times previously. The protagonist was the 936 Vario, who got a score of 261 g/kWh. The latest results of the test of the DLG Centre have made it possible that Fendt can resubmit a new maximum value: value of 245 g/kWh the 828 Vario presents a new world record, which is a fuel consumption of 56 g/kWh less than the average achieved for all tested tractors up now in testing PowerMix (magazine specialized Profi). This has been achieved through a combination of efficient Fendt technology with the technology of fuel economy SCR, in which the exhaust gases are processed with the AdBlue urea solution. And that, despite the reduction in emissions of nitrogen and particulate, thanks to this technology has been possible to reduce fuel consumption and emissions of CO2 very significantly.
