Case IH organizes a day of precision agriculture in Navarra

On 25 November held a day of precision agriculture in the Hotel Jakue of Puente de la Reina (Navarra), classified as 'Green Building', as one of the four buildings in Spain that has European certification of respect for the environmentwhich was attended by more than 50 area farmers, professionals of the sector. Case ih, pioneer in precision agriculture, presented GPS systems, guided and self-guided products as well as the control of the applications. It stands out by offering a very broad range of products, according to the needs of each client.

Tagus, official dealer of Case IH, with the help of your technical service, Juan Pedro Goñi, Manager showed the range of precision of Case IH agriculture products to customers, and above all stressed the practical advantages of these products, which help to capitalize on their farms. Case IH, that commitment to precision agriculture, presented GPS systems, guided and self-guided products as well as the control of the applications.

In the morning, responsible for product, Toni Ruiz, began the presentation offering participants a detailed explanation of the full range of CASE IH tractors: Quantum C, N, F, JXU, JX, Magnum, Maxxum, Puma CLC and the new Puma CLC SWB. Then raised the question to the audience: what is the precision agriculture?. The answer, according to Toni Ruiz, was clear: technological innovations based on products capable of analyzing the performance of the field to get the best benefits - self-guided AFS system. He says that, the self-guided AFS system is the most complete in the market. It allows easy ride, a great burst of work and a saving of transaction costs.

According to Diego Jimenez, head of AFS for Case IH, in his introduction about GPS systems spoke of how, in practice, farmers helped to work day and night even with low visibility. Later, the presentation gave way to a demonstration at the foot of field in a 3 hectare farm located 5 km from Puente de la Reina.
