Ifesa and the Junta de Castilla y León subsidize 50 per cent of the cost of the machinery exhibitors attending Agromaq

The Institution Ferial de Salamanca (Ifesa) and the Ministry of agriculture and livestock of Castile and León, Spain have reached an agreement that improves the conditions for assistance from the business of agricultural machinery of the community to Agromaq 2010. The regional government will support part of the cost of transporting the conclusion machinery companies to attend the event. In this way, facilitates the presence of exhibitors who are really interested in participating in the fair but who need support, before the current economic climate, to deal with this investment. For its part, Ifesa keeps the prices of the previous year, as well as the grant which was already applied to this group of exhibitors of agricultural machinery, so this year will receive a final grant of 50% of the cost of space occupied.
Over the past months, makers of Ifesa had carried out various meetings with industrial machinery, in order to meet the needs of the latter. Because the trade fair institution could not take lower prices, they studied and applied various forms of external financing. To this end, those responsible for the entities that form Ifesa moved to Valladolid and the result of his efforts was reflected in the aforementioned grant from the regional government. Finally, the Department of agriculture will cover part of the expenses of transportation of the exhibitors of machinery. However, this agreement is not enough for the salmantine agricultural machinery, meeting on August 9, which is why they insist on the final decision to not attend the pageant.
In addition to the discounts to exhibitors, the Organization of the fair also retain, to promote and enhance visits by professionals, the entry of group with a discount of 30% from the usual entrance addressed to the collective agricultural and livestockthat it will be managed through chambers farm, cooperative, enterprise or sectoral associations.
