After a day of November 20, which is carrying out an unprecedented general strike in the agri-food sector, 100,000 farmers and ranchers from all Spain are called Saturday morning in the Centre of Madrid. The Paseo del Prado will be witness of a unitary and historical mobilization to what agricultural organizations considered to be the greatest crisis suffered by our country's agricultural and livestock sector. Under the slogan 'the field ruined, mobilize you' agrarian organizations, Asaja, Coag and Upa have embarked on an information campaign that is coming to all the municipalities of Spain and the response has been unanimous. Every day, organizations have been receiving accessions and expressions of support from local councils, political parties, sectoral organizations, class unions, business groups, civic movements, etc. Estimates of the three organizations from all points of Spain, convening, about 100,000 farmers and ranchers will meet tomorrow 21 November in Madrid. The demonstration will depart from the confluence of the calle Alcalá with the plaza de Cibeles, run by the Paseo del Prado and will conclude in Atocha, before the headquarters of the Ministry of environment and Rural and marine affairs.
Today, day prior to the demonstration, there convened a general agrarian strike in all Spain in which producer and cooperative sector protest at the situation of extreme difficulty which pass all productions and crops. Organizations such as cooperatives Agro-Alimentarias, with about 3,000 associated cooperatives, has joined this mobilization and will participate in the demonstration in Madrid, both on the day of arrest. During the day of unemployment, also there are concentrations and tractoradas in many points of our geography.
