Breeds sector go en masse to Firagri 2009

The Town Council of Figueres, who now works for the next edition planned for 2011, stresses that the fair has been the interest of the people who works in the field and stresses that the fact of having every two years has been a good experience. He is considered that the tenth edition of this contest has met the expectations, even taking into account the strong wind that blew for the first two days.
There was also a notable attendance at technical conferences held and focused environment to the different topics such as food security, the pig sector, the reform of the CAP and the health and safety in the field.
Exhibition of tractors of time
The Association ' Amics dels Tractors d'Època of l 'empordà' exhibited during the course of the show around 30 tractors from time of the 20th century, some of which have wheels of iron, which belong to the members of this organization. Vehicles that were presented included a machine beat and a ligadora.
These vehicles were restored by the members of the Association to return to work. Among the objectives of the Association is also show the evolution of these tractors. This society is dedicated to making presentations to teach the general public this machinery and materials used in its construction. Currently it already has about ninety members, which have a total about 200 vehicles.

· Panella Manutencions (Riudellots of the jungle): ecological electric car multi-service for works of gardening, among others.
· Quads Trivimón (Cassà de la Selva): quad equipped with all the necessary devices to do agricultural work.
· Sebastià Sabater (La Bisbal d'Empordà): small tractors between 18 and 20 CV showing improvements in the technical, aesthetic, handling and consumption.
