The transfer of knowledge in the agricultural sector centre the parallel activities in Expo Agro

To a month seen of the start of Expo Agro Almería, continue the preparativos of the fair and of his programming of parallel acts centred in the transfer of knowledge in the sector agro.

The first of the activities that gave to know in the frame of the fair was the XIII Congress of the SECH. A meeting between professionals and researchers that will tackle so much the current tendencies of investigation like the problems and novelties of the horticulture in different fields. Inside this program, in concrete, and of all those that are organising with reason of the fair, the companies hortofrutícolas will have a very stood out paper. In the case of the congress, inside his programming has included in the same, a program of meetings with the display units with the end that they know the advances experienced and analyse hand-held of the experts the practical applications that these investigations have. To this initiative will add the realisation of some meetings of transfers with companies, visits to the installations of production, and another series of acts that allow to know the reality of the technology used by this so innovative sector.

The Experimental Station of the Foundation Cajamar also will be present in Expo Agro. His contribution will be directly related with the transfer of knowledge when participating actively in the Congress of the SECH with the presentation of several works inside the Department of Technologies of the Invernadero in appearances related with the ventilation in greenhouses, systems of padded for floor, biomass for heating, cracked of the tomato and cultural technicians, and inside the department of Fruticultura Subtropical Mediterranean, works that correspond with the essays that have realised in medlar, cherimoya and grape of table. Likewise and coinciding with the fair, the Station will celebrate a ‘Day of Open Doors' with the end to give to know the essays in which they work in this centre. The visits are a half direct to give to know the activities that develop in the Experimental Station, at the same time that allow an exchange of information with technicians, agriculturalists and public in general interested in the essays that come developing each season in his installations. Nevertheless, for which can not attend to The Palmerillas, the Experimental Station has foreseen to install a reply in a small way of his last investigations in the stand that Cajamar will have in Expo Agro.
